What’s your name and how would you describe your work in generative AI?
My name is Stefano and I engage and curate on socials the AI/CC daily themes. I am also into an AI generated #film3 project called 2137ad, in which I create Colonies and characters for that cinematic universe.
How did you first become interested in AI?
First curiosity and by following the AI/CC group from the beginning I got trapped into it.
Can you share with us your journey into the world of AI artistry? (When did you start, what inspired you, etc.)
I get inspired litterally from everything I experience as a human being: music, readings, chatting, talks, movies, daily life…all has its part. I started my AI adventure exactly the 21st of September with the first trial images on Midjourney.
What is your favorite piece(s) that you’ve created and why?
Oh my….this is hard. There is a bit of me in each one. For sure my fav are those on which I put the most effort and gained some bit of expertise by struggling in obtain the result I envisioned before starting the image.
Can you share a bit about your creative process? How do you approach a new project or piece?
Some times I start with a very clear image in mind and what I do is type directly the subject, I check different options of renderings by MJ and then I pick the one or two I like the most and arrange them with the style I want them to be. Other times I just want to see what MJ brings out from some keyword and I have designed a specific prompt that I use very frequently to get some cool stuff that I can work further and stylize as I see it more convenient to be.
Which AI platforms and tools do you primarily use in your work?
Midjourney
On a scale of 1-5, how would you rate your level of expertise in AI artistry?
4
What challenges have you faced in your journey and how did you overcome them?
I think challenges mainly related to achieving a particular style. The AI/CC community as a whole always pushed me to overcome my limits. It is super important to be surrounded by talented people who are always willing to help and share valuable knowledge. Special thanks to Brian Sykes (meeeega methor) who gave me the first tips and tricks to achieve the first goals. 🤗🙌❤️
What advice would you give to someone who is just starting their journey in generative AI artistry?
Experiment as much as you can. Master one approach at time. Don’t stick just to that approach and keep on experimenting on many approaches and techniques as you can. Surround yourself with people more talented than you are. Don’t be shy to share. Spread always good vibes and never give up.
