What’s your name and how would you describe your work in generative AI?

Christopher Sicurella.

Fearless and uncompromising explorer of all mid-journey alternatives

How did you first become interested in AI?

The press sparked my interest in December 2022.

Can you share with us your journey into the world of AI artistry? (When did you start, what inspired you, etc.)

I immediately began to try everything that was available freely online. I soon became a member of the AI/CC group of AI enthusiasts on Linkedin where there’s inspiration galore.

What is your favorite piece(s) that you’ve created and why?

I like to think in sets of images as I often enough create a whole series (my devout but rather unholy imps for instance).

Can you share a bit about your creative process? How do you approach a new project or piece?

I found the many different AI image generators I use are not created equal but require different prompting. By now I know what to do where.

Which AI platforms and tools do you primarily use in your work?

The list is long – and continues to grow. I am fond of Leonardo, Bing Create, SDXL 0.9, ..

On a scale of 1-5, how would you rate your level of expertise in AI artistry?

4

What challenges have you faced in your journey and how did you overcome them?

I constantly face challenges (especially since I constantly try new AI apps) and don’t rest until I master them.

What advice would you give to someone who is just starting their journey in generative AI artistry?

Don’t copy prompts. Don’t ask for prompts. Take advice, lessons, hints, as you please but go your own way. Explore much and accept fails are part of the way. Some fuck-ups are too good to delete. Keep ’em as a memory of a lesson learned.

How can people follow your work? (Social Media links, website, etc.)
